“With a fantastic first year in the books, we’re thrilled to have started 2013 in such great fashion and look forward to a hugely successful year.”Īfter sending more than $300 million to the state education fund in 2012, Resorts World continued that trend in January, delivering more than $26 million to education coffers for the second consecutive month. “The first month of 2013 could not have been better, as New Yorkers and tourists alike proved yet again that they’re thrilled to have a world-class gaming experience right here in Queens,” said Michael Speller, President of Resorts World Casino New York City. With gross gaming revenues of $59.1 million in the month of January, the third highest in the brief history of the facility, Resorts World showed no sign of slowing down from its record-breaking first year.
